Baltimore Ravens December Preview

an american football

The Baltimore Ravens have been one of the surprise teams in the NFL this year. After a little bit of a disappointing season last year, they’ve taken the league by storm this year. Joe Flacco has looked rejuvenated and the defense has looked as strong as ever, but if the Ravens want to make a push in the playoffs, they’re going to need a strong December. This month, the Gates of Owings Mills Blog has the only preview you’ll need to get ready for a strong push this month.

At Atlanta Falcons, December 2nd, 1:00 pm
First up this month is the Atlanta Falcons. The Falcons are one of the most talented teams in the NFL, but unfortunately for them (and luckily for the Ravens) a lot of their talent has missed significant time this year. Deion Jones, Keanu Neal, Devonta Freeman, Andy Livitre, and Ricardo Allen have all been placed on the injured reserve this year with big injuries. With many of their talented players out for the game, look for the Ravens to feast on both sides of the ball and cruise to an easy win.

At Kansas City Chiefs, December 9th, 1:00 pm
The greatest show on turf rolls into town for Week 14 of the NFL season. Patrick Mahomes II has taken the league by storm this year in Andy Reid’s innovative offense. With Travis Kelce, Tyreek Hill, Sammy Watkins, and Kareem Hunt all on the field on offense, Kansas City has playmakers all over the field that will rack up points. The Ravens will need to have a powerful offensive attack if they want to keep up in this game.

Vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers, December 16th, 1:00 pm
The Buccaneers have had an up and down year. They started off on fire riding on the tail of Ryan Fitzpatrick’s incredible start to the season. After a rougher patch, Fitzpatrick was benched in place of incumbent starter Jameis Winston. Winston is a notoriously streaky player, and the Bucs will go as he goes. If the Ravens are able to contain him, Tampa Bay will be no problem for the Ravens to take down.

While this looks like a tough month, the Ravens should be able to have a winning December. Be sure to gather all your friends and family in your Owings Mills, MD apartment and watch these games together. It’s going to be a great Ravens season!
