Let’s get fruity with some summer smoothies! Today, The Gates of Owings Mills Blog has four smoothie recipes to share with members of our apartment community. The next time you’re feeling a bit on the warm side, try one of these delightfully delicious drinks. PIneapple, raspberry, peach, or kiwi-watermelon — we’re providing choices. These drinks are sure to refresh. Try one today!

 

Pineapple Mint Smoothie

It doesn’t get much better than a fresh pineapple. From Living Sweet Moments, we have the perfect smoothie for a hot afternoon. Blend up 2 cups of fresh pineapple, 6-7 leaves of chopped mint, 1 cup of ice, and ¼ cup of water. Simple and easy, but it will hit the spot.

 

Raspberry Sunrise Smoothie

This smoothie recipe comes from Damn Delicious. It’s perfect for one of those slow mornings. Drink this to wake up and get started on the right foot. First, blend 1 ½ cups of frozen raspberries and cup milk and set aside. Then, blend 1 ½ cups of frozen pineapple chunks and cup orange juice. Pour raspberry mixture into a glass, topped with the mango mixture. Refreshing and not to mention beautiful!

 

Fresh Peach Lemonade

This smoothie recipe comes from Gather for Bread. It’s a perfect refreshing drink. You’ll need 3 large peaches, pitted, and cut into quarters, ½ cup sugar, 1 cup of real lemon juice, and water. Kiwi Watermelon

This recipe comes from Betty Crocker. Blend together these frozen fruits for a fun and delicious smoothie. You’ll need 1 kiwi, 1 ½ cups of watermelon, and 1 ½ cups of green or purple grapes (or both!).
